My Virgin Book Signing--June 14th at Maria's Bookshop
I'm beginning to get a bit nervous about my virgin book signing (at Maria's Bookshop in Durango, Colorado, on Tuesday June 14, 6:30pm.)
First of all, will anyone show up? And will anyone buy my book? A lot of my friends will be out of town--after all, it's summer. This is my very first signing for my debut novel, Vestal Virgin--suspense in ancient Rome. I plan to read excerpts from my book--what if I stumble? What if my mouth goes dry? They won't let me serve wine at the bookstore, so everyone (including me) will be sober. But I can bring snacks. I'm going to New York tomorrow for a few days, so I'll be sure to raid the Mediterranean Market and bring back some goodies.
Anyway, I'm excited. If you're able to stop by, I'd love to see you at Maria's! You can ask me embarrassing questions.

I'm sure you'll do fine :) Can you take water? Take a sip if you're going dry! If you get too nervous just stop and breathe a little (or use water as a cover-up to breathe).
