Hetaera--Suspense in Ancient Athens is FREE on Amazon through 1/10/12

If you're looking for a fast-paced story about ancient Athens (and who isn't?) Hetaera--Supense in Ancient Athens   is FREE on Amazon through Tuesday, January 10, 2012.

After working out a few formatting issues, I've enrolled the book in the Kindle Select program for three months. Though I wish I didn't have to remove the book from other formats like Smashwords and B&N, Vestal Virgin--Suspense in Ancient Rome has done so well in the program that I decided to go for it with Hetaera.

It's difficult to say how this will all play out. In theory, I'm against monolpolies, and I hope to put the books back on Barnes & Nobel and Smashwords as soon as the initial three month agreement is up, but sales will determine my actions. Amazon has demonstrated tremendous selling power.

Meanwhile, if you haven't had a chance, please pick up a copy of Hetaera while it's free. I'm working on book two right now, and hope to have it out this summer!
